The Tech Landmark, a complex of four towers, providing approximately 44,000 s.m. GFA of new research space for the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Science of the University of Hong Kong. Located at the University Drive of the Main Campus, the new development will be joined by link-bridges to connect to the University Street and the MTR.

The Tech Landmark is a ground-breaking initiative to advance resources for cutting-edge research and entrepreneurship. The University’s vision is to use the power of world-class innovation and technology to improve humanity.

The Tech Landmark will house 10 institutes dedicated to interdisciplinary studies and emerging fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, smart materials, quantum science, and biomedical engineering.

A key component will be a Data Centre to provide enhanced centralized services, to improve scale, capacity and reliability to the whole IT infra-structure. Power and cooling supply infra-structure will be capable of accommodating high performance computers suitable for projected future demands.

The project is now under construction and targeted for completion in 2025.
