YC Chau is the Executive Director of (Mainland) within Wong & Ouyang and has more than 20 years of experience principally on projects in China. She has been in charge of Wong & Ouyang’s Shanghai Office since 2003.
She was the Project Director of number of projects in China, including Shanghai’s Jing An Kerry Centre, the HKRI Taikoo Hui mixed use development at Nanjing West Road and Tishman’s Crystal Plaza comprising of a mixed use office; retail and residential development at Qiantan, as well as the Kerry Centre, a mixed use development at Hangzhou.
She is experienced in large scale comprehensive developments, fully conversant with the regulatory control system in China, the liaison with local design institutes and in project administration with local contractors.
YC joined the Practice following graduation from the Department of Architecture, University of Hong Kong in 1996. She is a member of HKIA, a Registered Architect and an Authorized Person. She also holds PRC Class 1 Registered Architect Qualification in 2006.
YC has been actively involved on the Board of Mainland Affairs and has been the convener of the Eastern China Liaison committee since 2007.
