Danny Tang has over 30 years of experience in the design and administration of a wide variety of projects. He joined Wong & Ouyang in 1991 and was appointed Director in 2014 and then Executive Director in 2019.
His experience covers a wide range of building types including educational, healthcare & institutional projects, residential developments, prestigious hotel projects, and large scale commercial buildings with involvement from feasibility study, master-planning, schematic and detailed design through to project implementation.
His in-depth involvement with education, healthcare and institution projects has resulted in a keen understanding for working with clients and end-users to ensure design requirements are understood and incorporated within a strong, innovative architectural concept, an emphasis on contemporary architectural language, form and detailing that is that is effectively implemented. Selected projects include the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Extension, the HKU Centennial Campus and the University Street, the International Commerce Centre (ICC) and the twin Cullinan Towers, and more recently, the redevelopment of the United Christian Hospital.
Danny studied architecture in UK, is a HKIA member and a Registered Architect. He currently serves as a member of the HKIA Board of Practices.
