Galaxy Lot 3, Performance, Convention & Hotel

 

Wong & Ouyang is the Lead Consultant for Galaxy Macau on their Lot 1 Phase 2, Lot 3 & Lot 4 developments. These three lots are mixed-use integrated developments with Hotels, Gaming, Retail, Conventions & Exhibitions, Family Entertainment & Resort facilities. These three sites have a total of 1.1 million sq.m GFA with over 2,600 carparking spaces.

 

Lot 1 Phase 2 was completed and officially opened in May 2015. Being a World-Class Asian resort destination, it comprises integrated facilities including two luxury hotels, F&B outlets, a retail mall, gaming and a Grand Resort Deck.

 

The Phase 2 development added two new hotel brands. The Ritz-Carlton Macau, located at the upper portion of the hotel tower, is its first all-suite hotel property in the world with over 250 suites, while JW Marriott Macau is the largest hotel of its brand in Asia with over 1,000 rooms, including the private villas with their own outdoor pools or jacuzzis located at the base of the 36-storey hotel tower.

 

The project added The Promenade, a new shopping precinct featuring over 200 shops including luxury flagship stores, designer boutiques and lifestyle favorites. The new retail mall is seamlessly connected to adjacent lots and developments by linkbridges, providing a continuous shopping experience through bridges from one premise to another.

 

The development also added 23,000 sq.m of casino facilities, including mass gaming as well as VIP gaming. The 6,600 sq.m mass gaming at G/F is connected to the existing Phase 1 gaming floor as a continuation of the gaming experience.

 

The Phase 2 development expands Galaxy Macau’s Grand Resort Deck to over 75,000 sq.m, featuring a new Skytop Adventure Rapids – the world’s longest skytop aquatic adventure river ride at 575 meters. Together with the Asian themed tropical gardens, exhilarating waterslides, beach lagoons, white water rapids, geysers, waterfalls and a kids zone, Galaxy Macau boasts the most exciting and immersive water park adventure experience.

 

Following the successful delivery of Lot 1 Phase 2 project, Wong & Ouyang was commissioned to be the Lead Consultant for developments in Galaxy Macau Lot 3 & Lot 4, with a total site area of 155,000 sq.m. Together they will provide a total of 676,000 sq.m GFA. They will be mixed-use integrated developments with Hotels, Gaming, Retail, Conventions & Exhibitions, Family Entertainment & Resort facilities. While the design of Lot 4 is underway, the construction of Lot 3 is began in 2017.
