Redevelopment of No. 2 University Drive and I.T. Building, The University of Hong Kong (Tech Landmark Development)

The Tech Landmark Development is a ground-breaking initiative to advance resources for cutting-edge research and entrepreneurship. The University’s vision is to use the power of world-class innovation and technology to improve humanity.

This scientific and technological flagship is a complex of four towers, providing approximately 44,000s.m. GFA of new research space for interdisciplinary studies on Engineering and Science.

Located at the University Drive of the Main Campus, the new development will be joined by a new link-bridge and a lift tower to connect to the University Street and the MTR conveniently.

A key component will be a Data Centre to provide enhanced centralized services, to improve scale, capacity and reliability to the whole IT infra-structure. Power and cooling supply infra-structure will be capable of accommodating high performance computers suitable for projected future demands.
