HKUST Research Building 2 : Life and Chemical Sciences and Technologies

The Project comprises the construction of a 8-storey research building near the south end of HKUST campus, with CFA about 11,000 s.m. which will provide research laboratories (primarily wet-labs), a DNA foundry and the ancillary supporting facilities, such as office accommodation, meeting rooms, lab support space and an exhibition area. A safe and functional research facility will require the installation of laboratory extract systems, biohazard safety cabinets and specialized furniture. Tentatively to be completed in 1st quarter of 2026.
